How-to speed up the app update process

PUSH NOTIFICATION:

  1. Name the message (Ex. “Push - App Update Announcement”)
  2. Choose Message type - “Push Notification”
  3. Customize the message
  4. For Targets, select a criteria that will target users that have not updated (Ex. App Version)
  5. For Delivery, select “Scheduled”
  6. Choose the day and time you want to send the message
  7. Select Optimal time to send the message
  8. Select “Start” in the top right corner to set the message live

 

IN-APP MESSAGE

  1. Name the message (Ex. “In-App - App Update Announcement”)
  2. Choose Message type - “Confirm” (from the In-App options)
  3. Customize the message
  4. For Targets, select a criteria that will target users that have not updated (Ex. App Version)
  5. For Delivery, select "Triggered"
  6. Add a trigger for when “User starts or resumes app”
  7. Select the exlusions and limit for the message
  8. Select “Start” in the top right corner to set the message live
